From March 28 to April 1, the Asia-Pacific Club and the Asian Institute will be folding one thousand paper cranes to raise money for Japan in the wake of the devastating damaged caused by the recent earthquake and tsunami. (View our poster here.)

Please stop by to visit us in the lobby of Sidney Smith Hall, 100 St. George Street, to fold a crane and make a donation. We will be there from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Guided instructions for the origami will be provided.

Proceeds go to Canada Red Cross, earmarked for Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami relief. The cranes will be sent to Japan at a later date. Tax receipts are available for donations starting from $20.
