Students in the Dr. David Chu Program’s capstone course Issues in Asia-Pacific Studies (ASI400Y) and Geography’s Changing Geography of China (GGR 343F) were successful in their application for Internationalized Course Module (ICM) funding from the Faculty of Arts and Science. Led by Professor Alana Boland, the students will travel to Chengdu, China, in May 2011 to conduct field research. Congratulations Professor Boland and students!

This is the second year in a row that ASI400 students have received ICM funding. Last year, the class conducted field research in Bandung and Jakarta, Indonesia, led by Professor Rachel Silvey.
